Thank you for your support of Peace & Hope Frontier Mission! I am writing to share an exciting announcement about what the future holds for Peace & Hope.

In 2013, we partnered with an organization called Mission: Hope, formerly Rivers of the World, after meeting through a mutual friend of both ministries. Mike Reinsel (President & CEO of Mission: Hope) and I spent a couple of weeks together exploring the remote villages along the Rio Grande de Matagalpa. Through this partnership, we worked together to establish a model of work that is Christ-centered, holistic, and village-led. Together, we have been able to do far more than we could ever do alone, but we realized that the two organizations becoming one would more deeply and more quickly facilitate the transformation of these villages along the river.

I am pleased to inform you that Peace & Hope Frontier Mission has officially merged with Mission: Hope, bringing the staff and common vision into one, as Mission: Hope. I am excited to continue forward in my role as the Nicaragua Country Director for Mission: Hope. Moving forward, you will receive communication from Mission: Hope, and your donations can be sent to Mission: Hope, and the same great work will continue at a deeper level as a result of the merger.

I am beyond excited about what the future holds as we unite as one organization, but we need your help and investment now more than ever. With your help;

  • more families will receive access to healthcare and clean water
  • they will learn how to grow more of the right crops to have healthier food sources and to have more income
  • they will be better prepared for droughts and floods that destroy their crops
  • more adults will go through literacy training and be able to read for the first time
  • and, they will hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Excited for the future,

Peter Coleman
